A: Yes ShopMAX1 uses MSSQL server and you can download a free
manager from Microsoft to manage you database. the link is on the
right.
Q: Reliability "How long can I expect my
appliance to last"
A: Of course there are no guarantees in life but you should expect
your ShopMAX1 appliance to last a very long time the MTBF rating on
the hard drive is over two million hours "or 228 years"
Q: Warranty "What happens if my
unit fails"
A: ShopMAX1 units come with a five year replacement warranty after
that you can send it in to be repaired for a service charge.
Q: Data loss "What happens if I
loose my Data"
A: ShopMAX1 cannot make any warranty for data loss. Unfortunately
data loss is always a possibility like parachutes that don't open.
But if you have backed up your data, restoring it will not be as
hard as the ground.
